Deliverable
3D Photogrammetric Models for Construction & Complex Roofs
Drone photogrammetry, done right: multi-angle aerial capture, reconstructed into a rotatable 3D model of the building, roof, or site — built for the projects where a flat map alone doesn't tell the whole story.
What this means for you
Instead of one straight-down photo, you get a model you can rotate and view from any angle — walk around a building on-screen, judge a roof's true pitch, or see how a stockpile, addition, or mechanical yard actually sits in space. It's a visual and geometric reference, not a substitute for the to-scale CAD overlay our orthomosaic deliverable provides — the two are complementary, and most complex projects benefit from both.
How the Model Is Built
The site or structure is flown from multiple altitudes and angles, not just a single straight-down pass, so every face — roofline, wall, and equipment — is captured from more than one perspective
Overlapping imagery is processed through photogrammetry software to reconstruct a textured 3D mesh, geo-referenced to the property
The finished model is delivered in common, software-agnostic formats (OBJ / GLB) that open in most CAD, BIM, and 3D viewing tools your team already uses
Complex or cluttered sites — additions, rooftop mechanical yards, uneven material stockpiles — are exactly where this deliverable earns its keep over a flat map
Built for Construction, Facility Teams, and Complex Roofs
Construction & General Contractors
A shared spatial reference for coordinating trades, tracking site progress, and estimating material volumes for stockpiles, cut/fill, or debris removal — without everyone re-measuring the same thing by hand.
Full Facility Inspections
One model ties the roof, walls, and rooftop mechanical equipment together spatially, so a facility manager can walk around the building on-screen instead of cross-referencing separate flat maps and photos.
Complex Roof Geometry
Multi-pitch roofs, parapets, and additions are genuinely hard to judge from a flat orthomosaic. A 3D model shows true pitch and structure, so a roofer or GC can price a repair accurately before ever setting foot on-site.
