Rooftop Mechanical & Drainage Asset Registers
Rooftop asset management built for facility teams: RTU inspections, flashing and parapet condition tagging, and drain/scupper ponding-water flow audits — logged and geo-tagged against a single property map, not a loose list of notes.
What this means for you
A GPS-mapped inventory of every HVAC unit, fan, and piece of equipment on your roof, with condition notes and ID tags, so your maintenance team always knows exactly what's up there — without anyone needing to climb up and check.
What Gets Logged
- Every rooftop unit (RTU), fan, and mechanical asset is identified, GPS-pinned, and assigned a condition tag during the same daylight pass as the orthomosaic mapping — thermal, when included, is flown separately post-sunset on the same site visit
- Flashing and parapet runs are visually inspected and condition-noted for cracking, separation, or wear
- Drain and scupper locations are logged with a ponding-water flow audit, flagging low spots where water isn't draining as designed
- Every entry is geo-tagged to the property's orthomosaic, so the register isn't just a list — it's a map
Where This Fits
Facility and maintenance teams use the register as a living record between site visits — knowing what equipment exists, where it sits, and its last-known condition without a walk-up every time something needs checking. It also feeds directly into capital planning and reserve studies, where knowing the real condition and count of rooftop assets matters as much as the roof membrane itself.
