High-Resolution 2D Orthomosaics & CAD Envelopes

Commercial drone roof mapping, done right: every flight begins with a nadir mapping pass that stitches into a single sub-centimeter-per-pixel orthomosaic — a distortion-corrected, true-to-scale image of the entire roof or facility footprint — exported as a georeferenced GeoTIFF and a vector-traced DXF/DWG CAD overlay.

What this means for you

A drone photo isn't the same thing as an orthomosaic. A regular aerial photo has lens distortion and perspective skew baked in — measure a straight line near the edge of the frame and it won't match reality. An orthomosaic corrects for that, so every pixel maps to true scale. The result is an ultra-detailed, distortion-free aerial map of your roof, detailed enough to measure directly on screen, plus ready-to-use digital blueprints your contractor can import straight into their design software — no manual re-measuring or redrawing required.

What Goes Into the Map

  • GPS-tagged nadir (straight-down) imagery captured at a consistent altitude, with 70–80% front overlap and 60–70% side overlap between frames for photogrammetric accuracy
  • Frames stitched into a single orthomosaic, corrected for lens distortion and terrain relief so every pixel sits at true real-world scale
  • Exported as a georeferenced GeoTIFF for GIS platforms, plus a layer-separated DXF/DWG overlay that opens directly in AutoCAD or similar design software
  • Delivered at sub-centimeter-per-pixel resolution — accurate enough to measure roof area, drain spacing, and parapet runs directly on screen

Built for the People Who Use It

Roofers and general contractors use the CAD overlay for material takeoffs and repair scopes without climbing the roof a second time. Facility managers use the GeoTIFF as a permanent, measurable record of the property — useful on its own, and as the base layer every thermal anomaly and asset pin from a survey gets plotted onto.
